As good as apartment living gets. I lived there for several years and, despite being somewhat cranky by nature, had virtually no complaints. Due to the proximity to the beach (30 seconds to 1 minute, depending on which building you're in), the crowd tends to be somewhat young, is largely military, and there are few children. Friday and Saturday nights have occasional noise when your younger neighbors return from the closing bars, but otherwise it's fairly quiet and the rare troublemaker is dealt with with ruthless efficiency by the office staff. In other words, if you want to party like a rock star, Somerset ain't gonna be your kind of place.
